CMC Issue New Type Approval Regulation

CMC has released new type approval regulation with some amendments to type approval requirements in Iraq. his regulation has not yet been published in English yet, but the main changes so far are as follows:

The Authority has established a new type of approval certificate called a "family certificate" which includes several models that has the same technical specifications but differ in the name of the model.

The second main change is that the type approval certificate is granted to any telecommunications equipment (wireless devices and wire devices) according to the type of device shown and conditions stipulated in this regulation.
